I was struggling this year getting into Christmas...I have just struggled with life since school started. I have an extremely crazy daily schedule and I hate it but I deal with it so my kids can have different experiences beyond the typical school day.
Back to Christmas...
I was having a hard time being excited for Christmas until we went to Disneyland. I love Disneyland but I LOVE Disneyland at Christmas. We had never been to Disneyland at Christmas time. It is a magical place to be!! Small World turns into Small World Holiday with displays from around the world and they sing Christmas songs. At night, they light Small World with thousands of Christmas lights...we loved it. We were also able to see Santa and his reindeer (yes they have real reindeer at Disneyland). At the end of the fireworks they make is snow on Main Street. My cousin told me about this so we made sure we were by the snow machines. The look on Andrea's face made me want to cry tears of joy. She had a look of pure joy and excitement on her face and I loved it!! I really hope we can go to Disneyland during the holiday season again!
